Sonic Pulse

Balancing energy through sound and acupuncture.

Sonic Pulse is a collective healing experience where acupuncture and sound work as one.
Created and led by Ana Guerrero and myself, it brings together two complementary arts, Five Element acupuncture and sound healing, in a shared, restorative space.

Each session offers Five Element acupuncture with points chosen to reflect the season, helping your body adjust to nature’s shifts and stay in balance. As the needles open energy pathways, a live sound bath of gongs, bowls, and tones surrounds you. Played with clear intention, the sound resonates with the body’s elements, amplifying the acupuncture and guiding you into release, coherence, and renewal.

I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Ana for over fifteen years and have watched her depth of knowledge and quiet precision continue to grow. Her presence brings warmth, care, and profound understanding of how to support the body’s natural rhythms. Together, we’ve carefully curated a space where these ancient practices weave into a living field of harmony and healing.

The experience as both grounding and expansive a chance to let go of tension, reconnect with inner rhythm, and leave feeling restored.

Together, these two practices offer a powerful reset for body, mind, and emotions.

  • Sonic Pulse brings together Five Element acupuncture and sound healing in one session.

    • Acupuncture works by placing fine needles at specific points along the body’s meridians. In the Five Element tradition, these points are chosen in tune with the season — for example, supporting the Lungs and Large Intestine in autumn, or the Heart in summer. Each treatment helps release tension, restore balance, and keep the flow of qi (energy) moving as nature changes.

    • Sound enters as vibration and resonance. Instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, and chimes create tones that travel through the body, affecting both the physical and emotional layers. Sound doesn’t just relax you — it can mirror and help release held emotion, while guiding the body and mind into coherence.

When combined, acupuncture opens the energy pathways and sound carries coherence through them. The two crafts amplify each other, creating a reset that works on body, mind, and emotions all at once.

    • 90 minutes of deep restoration in a calm, curated group space.

    • Gentle Five Element acupuncture tailored to the season, delivered by an experienced practitioner.

    • An immersive live sound bath of gongs, bowls, and tonal layers adding resonance and space.

    • A sense of the two practices weaving together: the acupuncture guiding the flow, the sound amplifying and carrying it deeper.

    • Time to integrate and ground afterwards with a herbal tea remedy.

Many people leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected, allowing the body and mind to come back into rhythm with the season and with themselves.

  • In the Five Element tradition, each season is linked to a pair of organs and an element:

    • Spring → Liver & Gallbladder (Wood)

    • Summer → Heart & Small Intestine (Fire)

    • Late Summer → Spleen & Stomach (Earth)

    • Autumn → Lungs & Large Intestine (Metal)

    • Winter → Kidneys & Bladder (Water)

As nature shifts, the body also needs to adapt. Seasonal acupuncture works with these rhythms, supporting the organs and elements most active at that time of year. This helps strengthen vitality, release what no longer serves, and stay balanced through transitions.

When paired with sound, the effect deepens. Each instrument can echo the qualities of the season - bright tones to uplift summer’s fire, deeper resonances to support winter’s water.. creating a healing experience that feels aligned with nature itself.
